Stila Lip Glazes

Hey guys! I promised some of you that I would have this post up Wednesday... Sorry! But its up now so better late than never right? Haha. Anyways this post is about some oldies but goodies! I recently came up on a great deal at Ulta so I wanted to share with you. Stila lip glaze trio. These were the very first makeup item I ever bought which was in like 6 or 7th grade. I couldn't even tell you how many of the "Pink lemonade" color I have had through out the years! This trio was originally $12.00. Then I had a coupon they give out for Birthdays and I got this pack for $4.00. Originally these are $22.00 each. Crazy i know! I couldn't pass it up. I also bought Smash box green correcting primer but I returned that.

The colors that were in the trio: Top- Piñata,  Middle- Kitten,  Bottom- Maracco
With Flash
Left to right: Maracco, Kitten, Piñata
No flash.

Piñata- Its a deep fuchsia color which isn't typically my "go too color" but it sheers out nicely and gives my lips the perfect color. The smell is very fruity which is nice, and it is a sticky lip gloss like all the other ones.

Kitten- Is my least favorite color out of the trio. It is a bronze color with a lot of gold flecks of shimmer. I tried it once on my lips and took it off immediately! So I wont ever use this again. Plus it smells like fake play dough.

Maracco-- This color is very similar to "Pink lemonade" which is my favorite, but without the shimmer. It is a perfect pink color which I can wear on a daily basis. It has a sweet smell but it isn't very strong. These lip glosses last 3-5 hours depends if I am talking a lot or not.

The packaging for these are a twist up and come out of the brush applicator on top. I have mixed feelings about this. Its easy to just through in my purse and apply it through out the day. But I have had a few where the twist part broke so I would never be able to get any more product out. Also the clicking nose is annoying when you twist it up. So you can't apply the lip gloss in a quiet public setting or you would just create an awkward moment.

Cons:
Stickiness
Packaging
Smell (on some)
Price

Pros:
Color range
Wear time
Packaging
Smell (some)
Doesn't show unevenness (chapped lips)
Easy Application

Have you tried the Stila Lip Glazes? What is your most recent deal on beauty items?

  2. Piñata is gorgeous! It's a pity that they are sticky, as I can't stand stickiness anywhere near my lips!
    Thanks for the review!

    1. The sickness is a huge let down for me as well! I hate when my hair gets stuck in my lipgloss and when I am talking my lips stick together. Sick!
